Day 2 : In your own space, create a list of at least three fannish things you'd love to receive, something you've wanted but were afraid to ask for - a fannish wish-list of sorts. Include a link to your wish-list if you feel comfortable doing so. Maybe someone with grant a wish. Check out other people's posts. Maybe you will grant a wish.

Oh man. It is so hard for me to ask for things. But last year some people gave me some really great things from this. It's funny, but I'm putting down pretty much the same things this year that I had last year:) I do have a Dreamwidth post that I keep updated that is a list of all things Jinxy which is basically my ultimate list of stuff I like for gifty reasons. (It's super kink heavy-so enter at your own risk!) Otherwise, here ya go:

I'm currently podficcing Dira Sudis's fic Sell Your Body To The Night for which the awesome reena_jenkins is making me coverarts because she's a gift. But I'm a musical person and I'm surprisingly uncultured when it comes to music. So I'd love someone to make me a fanmix/playlist for this fic. In general I get most of my music ideas from listening to people's 8tracks fannish playlists. So they are totally invaluable to me.
Although I've gotten better at making coverart, I consider my covers rather boring and mediocre. I always see my fellow podficcers with people that help them make art, and I'd love to have someone to go to for covers/ideas. I have a list of things I'm currently recording that I'd super enjoy to have help making art for (especially the auction fics). Last year majoline made me a super awesome cover, btw so props to her:)
My ot3 is in the Teen Wolf fandom. Derek/Laura/Stiles (or Derek/Cora/Stiles) which I eat up with a spoon. There is practically zero fanworks of these pairings. And let me tell you I've read them all and podficced most of them. I just need this pairing with a burning passion. I'd love for someone to write them for me. Preferably Derek being the meat in a Hale/Stilinski sandwich *waggles eyebrows*
And basically the only other thing I'd like is feedback for myself and for other podficcers. Authors get a load of comments/kudos/bookmarks/feedback but podficcers are lucky to get any sometimes. So I'd like people to gift any podficcer they know with some feedback because you want to and because you appreciate the work and time that they put into bringing fics to life with their aural tones. :DDD

Yup, that's all I've got right now. Why is that so hard asking for things??

Twitter | podfic | I dig this twitter because I see things retweeted from people with the same interests as me, but lots of people I don't follow. I often download the links even if it isn't my fandom, just because it's an interesting tweet. Also, I see people talking about one of my passions, who I never would have been exposed to before. I get to weigh in when people ask for advice and get feedback or see what people are saying even if I missed the conversation or weren't privy to a podficcing issue. It's a great twitter:)
Journal Feed | teenwolf_daily_feed | I really appreciate this feed because I'm often tired and don't want to go searching for the newest fics. It's done by volunteers and I really appreciate the time it takes them to code it every day so that I can conveniently find something to read. Also, I read Twoof like 90% of the time, so this is my jam. It closed down for a while, and I'm super stoked that they started it up again.
Tumblr | girls-for-gays | NSFW | I found this blog recently and it's become a daily stop of mine. I'm a person that needs a porn outlet, and often, so I often pop in and see what new vids they've put up. Or I ogle the pretty naked boys doing sex to each other. It's run by a lady with very very similar tastes to my own, so I'm never left unsatisfied. (Probably wasn't the kind of rec this challenge was looking for, but eh...)

Day Two: 20 Facts About Me

1. My name rhymes. Deidra Leigh Keveney. My dad's middle name is also Lee. Our last name was originally O'Keveney, but when the grandparents came over from Ireland they dropped the O. I really wish they hadn't.

2. My great-great-grandmothers name was Gaga. No joke. The original Lady G. Except no imitations.

3. I'm a vegetarian. For about a decade now. I am borderline vegan, but I have a cheese weakness. I don't eat eggs or drink milk, but I fucking love cheese. Would eat cheese every meal if I could.

4. I'm a beer snob. My favorite beer is Xingu. I drink a guinness everyday. Usually as a meal replacement. But lets face it. It's like a meal anyway. So hearty. I'm currently going through a cider obsession. Which sucks because I hate wasting all those calories on hard cider....but....it tastes so fucking good.

5. My current fic obsession is all things incest. GIVE ME ALL THE INCESTY GOODNESS. (2nd place: Xeno)

6. I would give just about anything in the whole world to be the meat in a Mia Tyler/Liv Tyler sandwich.

I am also selfish and would rather have my own company than constantly go out. So that leaves me with a lot of online friends, and that's okay with me.

19. My favorite city in the world is New Orleans, LA. I've been there a bunch of times for Southern Decadence (the gay Mardi Gras). It is the most magical place on earth, for me.

20. My very first gay porn star crush was the Falcon exclusive model, Erik Rhodes. He killed himself last year. I cried for 2 days straight. I'm still not over it.
