Well, I've been the recipient of a chapter by chapter sporking once upon a time, so the fact that I'm back in fandom if a little thinner skinned is something. I don't bother with anons anymore, bascially.
Oh whoa, that stings. I don't blame you. Fandom is supposed to make you happy, so you're certainly right to stay away from the parts of it that... really don't.
Basically if it's not a comment on my fic/podfic/journal, I don't care anymore and do not go look. But I cannot even believe these people (person?) are leaving these kind of comments directly on her stuff! *shakes head at people*
No, me either. I've posted literally hundreds of podfics and that's never happened to me. The worst I've gotten have been people complaining because the download won't work for them, or wondering if I can make a version without music, etc. They're more whiners than direct attackers. But then again, before Teen Wolf I always worked in Supernatural and Generation Kill, both of which are reasonably mature fandoms, I think, maybe more so than Teen Wolf, so I may run into it yet.
